India imposes anti-dumping duties on PTFE in China

On July 25, India made a final review of the anti-dumping sunset review of PTFE produced in China. The ruling imposed an anti-dumping tax of US$2.48 per kilogram on DuPont (Changshu) Fluoride Technology Co., Ltd. The tax rate for other companies was US$3.87/kg.

Previously, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a questionnaire to six Chinese companies, but only DuPont (Changshu) Fluoride Technology Co., Ltd. responded to the questionnaire.

In February 2010, the Anti-Dumping Agency of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India decided to review the final ruling in the anti-dumping period and determined that DuPont (Changshu) Fluoride Science and Technology Co., Ltd. had a damage rate of 32% to 38%, while other Chinese companies suffered a damage of 65% to 70%. . DuPont (Changshu) levied 3.01 US dollars / kg, other companies anti-dumping duties of 3.38 US dollars / kg.

According to statistics, in July 2004, India filed an anti-dumping investigation against PTFE produced in China; in July 2005, India made a definite final ruling on the case; in February 2009, India was originally produced in China. Teflon conducted anti-dumping mid-term review review. On February 26, 2010, India made the final review of the anti-dumping mid-term review. In July 2010, India initiated an anti-dumping sunset review of the case.
